We discuss whether or not the kits sold with UV filters, lens cloths, camera bags, etc. are a ripoff or not.

We had a Sony A7s here at Lens Shark for a few months and can’t say enough great things about it. This camera was definitely designed to be more of a video camera than a stills camera, but it’s still a nice stills camera. It’s just not ideal at just 12 Megapixels and the autofocus system is definitely not made for sports/action photography.

We have no reservations recommending this great mirrorless body so long as one understands what its strong suits are.
